Over the years, Brent away has proved to be the clubs bogey ground, but on Saturday COXAs strong preparation for the season paid off running out 5-3 winners

A quiet and even first half saw both teams going in 1-1 at half time, Tommy Mac opening the scoring and a defensive error at the back let Brent back in to it.

The 2nd half saw a blitz of goals from COXA which settled the match. The best one coming from Ashely Sneddon who produced a 25 yard lob over the keeper being the pick of the day.

The ever reliable Harty, starting the league season and continuing his great pre season form, came away with a Hat Trick.
